Content Information
Some stories contain emotional content, below is an outline of type content you might expect to hear:
- discussion around family, home and migration
- love, divorce, and relationships
- health, disability and cancer
- some existential thoughts about the world and our place in it
- mental health, dementia
- there are some mentions of death, loss and passing
- there are constant reminders of hope
There is over 2 hours of material which is growing from place to place. Clips are short, usually about 1-min long, which means discussions are usually short rather than detailed descriptions before moving onto the next track. The audio clips are random.
Swearing
World Kiosk seeks to reveal the complexities of people. Some mild and ‘authentic language’ is used, containing some swearing, which captures personal expression. These moments are rare but might not be suitable for young audiences.
