The music is gentle and calming, the headphone volume can be adjusted to suit your needs. There is no right or wrong way to engage with World Kiosk. If you want to sit alone, join in conversation, listen to the stories or not, you are free to engage in a way that suits your needs.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BSL Translations on Video <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A curated selection of stories have been translated into BSL by Ahmed Mudawi. Please ask a host for a tablet to view the stories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Large Print Newspaper <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A large print version of the Newspaper is available upon request. The print is 18pt in Ariel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Audio Description <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Some of our hosts are trained to offer more dedicated audio description and guided experience. Presented by Tony McBride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"http:\/\/worldkiosk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/World-Kiosk-V1.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BSL Trained Host<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">At some events British Sign Language (BSL) trained hosts are available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Content Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Some stories contain emotional content, below is an outline of type content you might expect to hear:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">discussion around family, home and migration&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">love, divorce, and relationships&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">health, disability and cancer&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">some existential thoughts about the world and our place in it&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">mental health, dementia&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">there are some mentions of death, loss and passing&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-small-font-size\">there are constant reminders of hope&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">There is over 2 hours of material which is growing from place to place. Clips are short, usually about 1-min long, which means discussions are usually short rather than detailed descriptions before moving onto the next track.&nbsp;&nbsp;The audio clips are random. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Swearing<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">World Kiosk seeks to reveal the complexities of people. Some mild and \u2018authentic language\u2019 is used, containing some swearing, which captures personal expression.
